The podcast

Established in 2015, PODCASTR is an award-winning podcast that explores the entrepreneurial business world. From the latest tips and tricks to savvy business advice and thought-provoking conversations with industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs, PODCASTR keeps you at the forefront of the business world.

The host

Hi there! I’m Miranda Sanderson, a New York City-based entrepreneur, author, and international business speaker.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been intrigued by the world of business.

Growing up, my parents owned and managed a small grocery store in the heart of Iowa. I spent many of my weekends and summers working and helping out at the store and decided that I, too, wanted to eventually own and run a business.

I graduated with a business degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2001 and earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. Since that time, I have owned four separate businesses, been invited to speak at numerous conferences and universities around the world, and published three business advice books.

As strange as it sounds, the idea for PODCASTR was born in 2014 during an Uber ride home from JFK International Airport. I had recently experienced the joys of listening to podcasts during long flights and decided that maybe it was time for another business venture. Unsure of where to begin, I did what every curious business person does nowadays … I consulted Google.

And now, many years later, I’m happy to report that PODCASTR has entered its seventh season. In my opinion, season seven is shaping up to be this podcast’s most thrilling, engaging, and rewarding season for you, the listener. From big-name guests to the latest pandemic-related business advice, this is one season you don’t want to miss.
